I owned two 2008 Saturn Astra manual 5 speeds and neither of them ever cleared more than 20.8 miles per gallon, even with all freeway(alligator alley) driving with the a/c off. I really would like to talk to the EPA to find out what drugs they are taking while they figure out the mileage on cars. Good luck and make sure you inform your service department about your poor fuel mileage, there could be something wrong that is causing it. Happy 4th of July and Happy Motoring. The Astra has a great body, built like a tank but, the 1.8l engine is just too small to support the weight of the car in real world usage. God bless. jason and family.
