Saturn visits the National Education Association meeting

Teachers are among Saturn’s most important buyer groups and for more than a decade Saturn has attended the annual meeting of the National Education Association (NEA. This year the convention is being held in San Diego, and the 12,000 delegates in attendance report back to NEA’s entire membership of 3.2 million—about one of every 50 workers in America belongs to the NEA.

Given the importance of the annual meeting, Saturn actually has not one, but two displays. First is a two-vehicle display alongside other exhibitors over the three days July 1-3. This year an Outlook and Aura are featured. There are lots of activities, such as the giveaway of “I Love Saturn” and “Proud Saturn Owner” ribbons that delegates can affix to their name badges. So far response the first day has been very strong. Saturn associates are on-site to answer any questions about the vehicles or about Saturn in general.

Meanwhile, two additional Saturn vehicles are on display in conjunction with Children’s Fund fundraiser for a nine-day period. Every delegate entering and leaving the assembly hall will walk past the Saturn vehicles, a VUE and an Aura.
Overall, teacher interest in Saturn remains very strong and we’re proud to be part of the meeting.
