What could be better than driving with the top down in a 260-hp Saturn Sky Red Line? How about driving the same great-looking vehicle with an extra 30 horses?

GM Performance Parts will soon begin offering a turbo upgrade kit that boosts the output of the LNF 2.0L engine to an impressive 290 horsepower. The torque rating jumps from 260 to 340 lb.-ft with manual transmission and to 325 lb.-ft. with an automatic. The kit includes a new engine calibration and upgraded MAP sensors, and meets the emissions requirements in all 50 states.

One sweet car! The Sky has been one of the best cars from Saturn, and it never fails everyone, esp. the owners. its parts (brake pad set) were on the reach because of GM's guarantee for the ordered car part.

I have this upgrade and love it. I didn't think I could love my Sky more before I got this upgrade, but boy was I wrong. :-)

If your dealer says they can't get it, give them the part number and have them actually *call* GM to order the part. My dealer said they couldn't get it, and when I asked the parts guy to call about it instead of looking online, they were able to get it ordered without any trouble.

Mike

I'm being told by my local retailer, they cannot order or get a hold of the kit. What's going on? Why should I have to order this from an aftermarket company? If you read on Skyroadster.com, all of the kits so far have not been ordered through a Saturn facility but there is a good amount of interest and demand for the kit. Many of us would like our local retailer to get the $$ for it but if they can't get a hold of it then.....

HELP!

What's GM Performance gonna do about the clutch that doesn't like to hold around 300hp?
We already have a customer that comes to my dealer that is making around 300 and the clutch slips terrily by the time you get to 3rd gear. Will new clutches have to be payed out of pocket since a clutch is considered a "wear and tear" item?

Frekkin AWESOME!!!!! They are actually listening to their customers!!!! I guess they finally noticed how they were being completely overrun by the multiple 300+ hp rated vehicles offered by their competitors. This is a good sign and I hope they will continue this line of thinking.

Mines already in and man dose it make a difference that you can feel... The part number is 19212670 but it is not listed in the dealers computer as of yet, but it should be by the end of the month. You can get it though through Crate Engine Depot which is actually a large Chevrolet dealer. You can find the infromation and order it here.
