Update on Saturn's Status

Like many of you, we on the Saturn Team were disappointed to learn a few weeks ago that the proposed deal with Penske Automotive Group had fallen through and that, as a result, Saturn would cease to exist as a brand. The news was disappointing to say the least, since it came just as we were gearing up to open an exciting new chapter in the Saturn story. Saturn Retailers in Canada to Close

You may have already heard the news that our Saturn retailers in Canada are closing their doors by the end of 2009. Our Saturn customers in Canada will be getting a letter to that effect soon. The letter from Arturo Elias, GM Canada President, says that, “After a careful and thorough analysis, it has been determined that GM Canada’s Saturn retailer operations will cease on or before the end of the year.” While the retailers remain open, they will have vehicles for sale, and they will be able t… Continue
