Hey fellow Vue owners!
I am working on a video I just shot this afternoon on how to add iPhone/iPod integration to the 2008 and 2009 Saturn Vue. I will post it as soon as it is edited but I figured I'd give you guys the heads up and the skinny on...
Just bought my 2008 Vue on October 21. A day I will always remember. After much fighting, blood, sweat, and gears, I finally have the SUV I've been waiting for.
I use to drive a 2001 Ford Focus SE. It was a 4 cylinder peace of crap. However, by God's infinite grace, that car lasted through every possible inhumane act I could possible place upon it. I had it for 5 years an put on 100,000 more than it had when I got it (started with 36k). It had its fair share of issues (AC Busted, Busted Motor Mount, Manifold Leak, 2 Busted Windows, and much more) and needless to say I will never go Ford again!
I was in the market for an SUV. But not any SUV! An SUV that was compact, fast, powerful, slightly gas friendly, and beautiful. My new Vue meets all that and more. I was very impressed with Saturn and it's history, which is what brought me to them in the first place. Saturn of Orlando South is hands down the best darn Saturn dealer I have ever set foot on.
So, more about me and less about my car:
I'm a technophile. I love technology, gadgets, electronics, and the like. Yes, I own an iPhone and it is hands down the best gadget I have. I became a Christian at the age of 11 and had some rough times in my spiritual life up until senior year high-school. Now, thanks to a dear friend, God has lifted me out of my spiritual impotence and has filled me with a heart that longs for a meaningful relationship with Christ.
At my home church I help with the audio/visual portion of the worship service every now and then, and advise the church on technology purchases. My major involvement with the church is with the College and Career Bible Study Group. I lead devotional times and teach a class every now and then though this only started recently. If you are interested in joining us, send me a message. It's a spanish church but the bible study is bilingual (English and Spanish, Mostly English).
I love cars, beside technology and the like, I'm a motor head. Although I drive a puny Ford Focus, It's the fastest, craziest, little piece of junk on the street. I love to drive and if I could afford it and had the resources, I would probably enter the Pro Racing arena.
I'm also a BIG, BIG movie buff. Movie-going is probably one of my most favorite activities. I see probably 2-3 movies a month, and my DVD collection has surpassed 200+.
Along with technology, I'm a big-time gamer. Not competitively. But for fun. Party games, or games that encourage multiplayers and groups of people playing together are my favorite games. Like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Guitar Hero, Halo, and so on. I'm not the best at all games but I am certainly a force to be reckoned with!
What more can I say? I written as much as I can think of. But they're is always more than meets the eye with people. Even though I'm kind of a shy guy, I want to meet new people and make new friends. Will you be my friend?
