I agree, but GM says that everything will be covered. Of course, I will now rethink purchasing GM products, will they still be around? My dealer closed about 6 months ago and I really regret my purchase.
What happens now? Where do we get service? Will a Chevy dealer be able to fix a Belguim built Astra? Now that GM doesn't have control of Opel will we be able to get parts?
It's too bad that my retailer didn't stick with Saturn. I hope Corpus Christi Texas gets a new Saturn Retailer soon. I don't want to drive to San Antonio when I need to service my Astra.

I feel like the tank empties quickly I think 10 gallons is too small. I average about 28 mpg, which is worse than I thought it would be. The best I ever got was about 32 on a long trip.
So who covers the warranties, GM or the "new" Saturn? And my Astra is really an Opel so who covers it? Where will Penske source the cars from? I know GM for now, but in the future will we be driving Chinese built Saturns? Or Renaults built by Ssayon…
Where can I get cloth, not velour, seat covers that allow for the side air bags? Has anyone found any seat covers that will fit the Astra and aren't velour or "faux" leather?
