I changed the bulbs in the instrument panel. the HVAC controls are a custom overlay that i had them tint the lit up stuff in blue also.

Good call on the 5 spd Vue.....should be reliable as all hell for you then. I hear ya about the options though. Eather get nothing or everything. I'd like everything....like mine had. But, thats because I have 3 kids to deal with. um manual windows and locks aren't for parents...lol

Ty for the compliment. I had a 2003 Vue 2.2L and the CVT trans. Hope that trans is holding up for you. It's a piece of crap...unless you got the 5 spd. I do miss my Vue though....it was loaded up and a soldier for a 4 banger SUV
