I have a 2002 LW200 (i.e. 4-cylinder wagon) and I am very ready to replace it. It handles very very poorly on snow and ice. It feels as if it's too light in the front - traction control kicks in when the roads are wet or when there's fine gravel o...
I love my L300 - years ago, I had an L100 and my wife had an LS2. Both were pretty much trouble free except for the cat getting clogged on the L100 and the dash cluster going out on the LS2. Both were warranty repairs, so no biggie. When it came time to go new (used) car shopping (I don't buy new anymore) I went straight for another L. Love the V6 power, handling, size is perfect for me and gas mileage isn't too shabby for a V6 either. The chrome wheels are sharp...maybe sometime down the road I'll get a set of them and throw them on my car.

Never been to Canada But I can imagine that at least in southern Canada the winters are about the same as the upper Midwestern US. They can get pretty serious here in Illinois at times. The couple weeks just before Christmas were a good example with high temps in the single digits, about a foot of snow, etc.
Yes I have. Mostly Chevys. My first car was a 1970 Chevy Bel Air that I bought new when I was discharged from the Navy. Then I had a '73 Chevy Caprice which I bought used. It wasn't in very good shape. The rear end had a lot of rust on it.,and I had lots of trouble with the carburetor specially in winter.. I also had a '76 Olds Delta 88 I loved that car until it developed a hole in the floor board much like Fred Flintstone's car. Also a '78 Chevy Caprice which had been owned by a farmer who never washed it but left it sitting out in the rain whenever it was dirty. He also used it to take care of his livestock in the barnyard so it stunk quite badly when I first bought it.
I also had a 77 Ford Crown Vic but the engine used oil like crazy. Then I had a 92 Dodge Caravan which I drove until it had over 150000 miles on it and I traded it in on the Saturn. I would hope Saturn doesn't go out of business. They have some great cars and it would be stupidity big time for
GM to trash them. Now Hummer is another story...
Congrats on getting a Saab. They are awesome vehicles! You're not as much of a traiter as I am. I am planning on getting a Toyota Sienna next month. As a family man, I don't have much choice.....lol. Unfortunately, GM doesn't lease here and Toyota does. Good luck with your new wheels!
