Jill said she'd keep us informed, but hasn't said anything on here since December. Is Saturn doomed? The media tells us that GM is looking to close Saturn forever, just like Oldsmobile. I'm sure that is not helping sales in the least little bit.

Well, I reapplied at all the local Saturn dealerships awhile back hoping to get a job with Saturn, but I've been let down again. I was told by all of the dealerships near me that they are overstaffed.

Hopefully one day I will work for Saturn. More specifically I hope to one day own a Saturn dealership, or even better, work for corporate on the latest dealership designs (RED+) and dealership strategies.

Not much to update. Needed to get the brakes done on my 07 Redline VUE, so my brother-in-law spent the day tracking down parts yesterday. Finding parts for 4-wheel disc brakes custom made for the VUE isn't easy. I think we've got all the parts now, and hope to work on the brakes today.

I think I'm going to try again for a job with Saturn. I'm planning on turning in a job application either today or Monday with Saturn of Dayton North. Hopefully they will call me for an interview..

I've been trying to regain a "healthy weight". Too many years as a cop driving around in a car all day and eating nothing but fast food has made me pudgy. I continued to exercise, but not enough to save myself from excess body fat. I was assigned to the traffic unit, so 95-98% of my eight hour shift I was sitting in my car.
