Has anyone else had problems with their cruise control cutting out if you disengage it in traffic and not restarting until you pull over turn the engine off and wait 10 minutes or so?????? I've had it to the dealer multiple times and they can never…

Congratulations, Wiley. Your story bodes well for me. I have a 2007 Saturn ION 3 2.4. It has just under 13,000 miles as of this writing, but I love to drive the car! So far, it has not given me a bit of trouble. Looking forward to 100,000 more miles…

122,000 miles on my Saturn Ion II ! The only thing I've done to it is change the oil and replace the tires. My Ion is still getting 31 mpg, too! I'd have to say this is the most dependable car I've ever owned.

About Me:
My Saturn Ion II just turned 90,000 miles and all I've done to her is put 4 new tires on her! I'm still running the original front disc brake pads and rear shoes! That's real lastability!

Leaky Coolant Reservoir???????

Has anyone developed a leak in their coolant reservoir? Mine runs dry every few days but I have yet to see the temperature guage rise. It's been going dry for a couple of months and I've just been adding water.
But, with winter approaching, I figure I better see to it. I called and a new one runs about $80, which isn't too bad, I guess, since it has an electric sensor attached to it.
I was curious if anyone had changed one themselves and if they had any tips.

Turn signal problems?

I had a problem with intermittent turn signals. Sometimes the left one would stop working, then after being parked awhile, it would work again. Then, later, the right one started the same thing. It turned out to be that the plastic plugs on the front turn signal bulbs had melted a bit so I bought some extras at my local auto parts store and replaced them. No problem since. And, by the way, they're a cinch to change!

Love My Ion!

Awhile back it occurred to me that my Saturn Ion II was 4 years old and I had over 100,000 miles on it. I had never had anything done to it other than changing oil and tires. I thought that, surely, soon the brakes would need replacing so I bought a set of brake pads for the front wheels and put them in the trunk for that inevitable day.
Well, I just turned 120,000 miles last week and, sure enough, I got surprised. I was on my way to work one morning and, as I approached a 4-way stop, I heard th… Continue
