I miss my 2004 Saturn Vue Sports Plus manual and will always cherish the memories of when Saturn was indeed a different kind of car company. May your Vue serve you for another 400K miles. Happy motoring! jason and family.

Saturn was such a great car, sad for us to learn that GM will be closing Saturn, it has great parts (rocker panel) and all, with great engine performance and stuff... sucks to see Saturn go...

I would definately ask the "Saturn dealer" if this collision is going ot void your factory warranty. If so, you could collect diminished value from the responsible party's insurance and they may even total your car due to the fact that they are ve...

Having personally owned a 2009 Saturn Vue XR and a 2004 Saturn Vue, you are indeed correct in observing the fact that the new vue is slightly smaller on the inside. However the 08-09 Vue is wider and a bit taller which may or may not be to a perso...

Thank you, Jason. I'm glad I'm not alone, though I wish we didn't have this problem. Next time I'm at the dealership I'll ask about possible problems, thanks for the tip. The car has only 7,100 miles on it, so I can't imagine that anything would be clogged up on it yet. Could be defective equipment(?) My OnStar says that everything is ok on the car, tho' I don't know how reliable they are with diagnostics. Thank you, I hope you have a great 4th, as well, and God bless you and yours.

Hey Jason, thanks for watching :) I can't wait to see the two-mode on the road. The coolest thing about that technology is that it isn't wishful thinking -- it'll be road-ready sooner than you know it.

Be well!

So far I am very pleased with my Sienna. However, it is too soon to tell how reliable it is. As far as the buying experience is concerned, I would rate it equal to that of my local Saturn dealer. I was always satisfied with the service I received from Saturn over the last 11 years of owning Saturns. My only negative is that I found reliability dropped considerably. My 2006 Vue had numerous repairs for problems that were known on the model since 2002! My decision to get a Toyota was based on better reliability and GM possibly not existing in a couple years! I do hope a solution is found to keep Saturn afloat. It would be a shame to lose Saturn.

Wow

I for one saw this coming despite Penske being painted as the saviour of Saturn and I pray that each person who has lost half the value of their car in the past twenty four hours is somehow able to itemize their taxes to recover their losses. Good luck to each of you. I will be itemizing some of my losses($6500) for all three brand new vehicles I bought from Saturn in the past year and I will never again buy a new vehicle until I have it inspected independently. If you knew what this company put… Continue

Smoke and mirrors.

As a professional automotive related business consultant(car rental industry) for quite a long time, I would like to go on record to officially say that I don't think Penske was ever seriously considering purchasing Saturn from G.M.. I don't know what Roger would stand to gain by lending his good name to the dog and pony show used to restore customer confidence long enough to sell out Saturn's remaining inventory. I will however continue my investigation as a former abused consumer that lost a l… Continue

Memories of days gone by....

I feel like my life has been changed forever having gone through an entire year of problems with three brand new cars and not even getting as much as an apology from Saturn. My retailer treated me like pond scum even though I had a great relationship with them with my 2004 Saturn Vue. None of what happened was my fault and I remain due compensation for eight oil changes and nine car washes which I will never see. It's kind of nice telling people about my experiences both with Saturn and my local… Continue

GM to bring a 4K dollar car to the US...

Having learned first hand that GM is not the company they once were through purchasing three defective brand new vehicles in a single year. I actually think this might increase their ratings. My Hyundai accent has yet to be in the shop and it cost half of the GM cars I purchased. Something is wrong with that picture. I was a very happy long term GM customer up to July 2008, that's when they stopped caring about servicing their customers and admitting the problems with their vehicles. Most of GM'… Continue

It's official....

It's official. Today I left the Saturn family and purchased a vehicle from a major competitor(to remain nameless). I choose to hold on to the pleasant memories I have with my 2004 Saturn Vue Sports Plus Manual transmission vue. I owned two 2008 Astras and one top of the line Saturn Vue XR and I have to tell you that in doing so, I learned a very expensive lesson along the way this past year. It hurts to know that this long term and loyal GM customer was driven away by serious vehicle issues and… Continue
