Hi, I fixed a few of these issues. Yes, it's electrical; in the second-gens we replaced the door jamb switch (plunger) on the b-pillar. It could also be the chime module, although I don't think that was a replaceable part on ...

Has any one ever wanted to make a SC convertible? They have monster trunks, plenty of space to put a roof. If I had the $ I'd definitely buy another to mod.
