Saturn Astra XR

Last weekend I bid a fond farewell to my trusty Astra. I decided to trade it while the value was still up and buy something more in tune with my current needs. The Astra was a fine car but both it and the Saturn Brand have been abandoned here in the USA. This is a shame and something that should have been addressed long before this.

I hope you give the folks at Saturn something to cheer about! Good people with good ideas. I hope you consider a partnership with the folks at Magna/Opel so that some of the current Saturn Cars can stay being made and that some of the fine new models from Opel will also come here as Saturns. As a Saturn Astra owner, I would love to see the next generation of Astra be in Saturn dealerships as well as thew new Insignia model as the Aura. Yesterday was my day off from my new Job. It's been tough starting all over at my age and having no vacation and such to deal with. Makes it difficult to get caught up with chores around the house and on the cars in the garage.

After a very LONG Northern Winter, I officially declare that Spring is here and it is safe to bring My Saturn Astra XR-3 out for a bit of play. She's been parked for the Winter, away from the Salt, Snow and Ice and crazy drivers. I took it out Sunday Morning for our Drive to Church. It was a great Summer and Fall this year all due to our New Astra XR-3. But for this year all good things must come to an end or at least slow down a bit. We had our first SNOW fall last night and because of that, the Astra will get a well deserved rest for the next few months while Snow and Ice is around. I love my Summer Tire Option and I just don't want to give those up. I'll leave the plates and insurance on it just in case, but here is hoping that she won't go out in any bad weather!
