04-12-2009....SATURN-5, Bob, here with a 2002 LW300 (L series Wagon 300)...looking to be a part of this group, too.

Yeah, that is what Cody keeps calling me lol. I really don't want to post the pics of what the SC looks like now, he'll kill me lol. If OB does not take it Jon, I might have to just keep it and cage it and go for broke!!!

Well montrealvue, it looks like you face the same dilemma a lot of other people face (myself included). Which is wanting a wagon with very few affordable choices out there. I like the Volvo V70 but its not very good on fuel, the 9-3 Sportcombi is much better. I'm certain people will start wanting more wagons when they realize they get the same utility as an SUV without the penalty of poor fuel economy.
Cheers,

I agree Randy, Saab's are nice but I like my car to cost less per month than my mortgage! I think wagons have not been terribly popular in the last few years as most have been limited to high end brands (Audi, Mercedes, BMW etc) and are out of reach of the average buyer. I have an '06 Vue which I say goodbye to at the end of the year (lease is up!) and plan on replacing it with a wagon. The contenders are the Subaru Outback, VW Passat Wagon and a used Saab 9-5 Sportcombi. If only GM had a decent wagon that was good on gas!

I own an '03 LW300. Before that I had a '95 SW2. I think a lot of people are hoping Saturn brings a mid-size wagon back. Saab is a little on the pricey side, although I bet the 9-3 Sportcombi (wagon) is fun to drive. The cargo bay on the 9-3 is smaller than my LW. I need the space for my dog, so I would like to replace the LW in the next couple of years with a car similar in size.
I really like the interior of the old SW2, the instruments were simple and readable and all the controls were at your fingertips. The seats were really good too, they were comfortable on long trips.
