Comment by William Biddlecombe on January 24, 2009 at 4:14pm: I think the Astra would sell a lot better if we had the sedan version. The US has never been a big hatch back market. Also we need more powertrain options, and XE 3-Door. We also need the OPC/VXR version that is sold by Opel/Vauxhall as a Redline (but with the new Turbo Cobalt's supsension and engine). The Corsa would be an excellent Yaris and Fit fighter and would also pick up the lost sales of ION 1 and SL1/SC1 who can't afford the more expencive Astra. I would like to see an AURA coupe. I would buy that over a Sedan. The other suggestions here are good as well.

As an artist having a car that can carry large paintings would be great. If this model was for sale i would still keep my ION sedan. I always thought that Saturn should offer a small wagon.I am sure that driving one of these beats driving a large mini-van & it gets better mpg.

Comment by Joel on July 28, 2008 at 1:50pm: I'd really like to see the other Astra body types make it over here. Especially the Convertible and Sedan version, maybe even a coupe.

That would really bring the popularity up, and finally get them moving out of the showrooms. Not everyone likes a hatch back.

Comment by RedLineVUE on June 24, 2008 at 6:48am: I'd love to see the Insignia come over in all three forms, coupe, sedan, and wagon... i'd love to see an turbo diesel AURA wagon, and I'd be in line waiting to purchase an astra convertable (especially if it's a manual transmission with power top, or the VXR performance Astra. We need more Red Line models, they should have an aura and astra redline..
