so, I'm about to buy a '92 SL1.. and my sister's freaking out because it doesn't have an airbag. Is there any way to have one added at a garage without breaking the bank?

stock pipe diameter on S-Series (all) exhaust is 1 and 7/8 inches

Can any one tell me how to remove the radio in my 97 sl1 i cant figure figure out how to get the plastic cover off to get to the screws holding the radio in........if you have any info on this please email me on here or perferably newkirk5207@roadrunner.com

Hey im looking for a new muffler for my 01 SC2 if anyone has some good suggestions let me know, and im trying to avoid going down the fart cannon path so nothing too massive. Thanks!

In 2004 I bought my 1996 Saturn SL2 after my '83 Toyota Tercel began to scare me(I drove it through a puddle and it began to vibrate a lot!). Loved that car very much but needed something newer. Anyways, I purchased my Saturn with some 138k miles. I bought it from the dealership here in Albuquerque at a good price. To shorten a long story...my mom and I found a "boo boo/flaw/ghetto rig" on the car that the dealership did not let us know about. So the beginning of this friendshiip started off a bit rocky.

Over the past four and a half years my Saturn has been one of the most realiable partners in my life. Not only has the body remained cherry(I had to get a new paintjob after it was keyed) but I've had no major issues with the engine*knock on wood* and the gas mileage has been amazing! I've actually gotten up to 52mpg ONCE. I have taken her on a journey to and from MN and am planing to do it again this year. Even after the rocky start I have been very pleased with my Saturn. The last year has proven to be a test of our friendship and I have had to replace some minor parts. But hey what 12 year old car wouldn't need some TLC?

In '07, after an accident, my mom decided to stray away from her '97 Subaru Legacy and look for something new. My first recommendation was immediately Saturn. So I talked her into getting herself a brand new ION in the neato green/gold color. Other than the fact that the ION can't compare to my car's MPG she is very pleased with her car as well. She did keep her Subaru...'cause come on who would want to say bye bye to a roomy wagon and AWD? =-P

I Cant believe people like this, It's ignorance. My dad works for Chrysler, and has for 12 years.Unfortunately, i live in Michigan, 30 minutes from Detroit. People are losing there jobs, and I'm having a hell of a time finding one, Michigan and the U.S. NEEDS the big 3.

I own a Saturn SC1 , gotta say i love it. First non Chrysler/dodge. : )
