u r 2

underpowered sc1

My 2000 sc1 is really underpowered. It runs very well with kn filter syn oil and trans fluid (5sp). Any ideas how 2 get more power. It won't get out of its own way. Lol

Permalink Reply by Joey Geoffroy on May 26, 2009 at 12:12am: hey mike i just bought a 2002 sc1 today lol and iv'e already been lookin for parts. i found www.andysautosport.com helpful. they have simple things such as throttle body spacers to full nitrous kits for the car. In my opinion i would pick up an A'PEXi Piggy-back power programmer. they're like 400-500 bucks but worth it. the site also has turbos and turbo kit parts listed for the sc series, big money but it's big power lol. for a lot less cash they have headers and exhaust parts as well. no complete systems but you could piece it together with the headers a high-flow cat, and an aftermarket muffler. Like I said i've been hunting for parts eagerly, hope the web-site i listed helps man. Peace; ▶ Reply to This
