Anyone get a speeding ticket in their Sky?

When my wife and I bought our Sky, the dealer warned us and said you will most surely be singled out for a ticket if you are among a group of cars traveling over the speed limit. So let's be honest, who among us has gotten that dreaded Sky speeding ticket? LOL!

We have been lucky, but my wife and I know it will be her that gets the ticket on our behalf.

Just got my first on in one of our Sky's, the one you see in the upper left, it was on a trip to Henderson, Nv. passing the guy in front of me who was probably doing the speed limit. I was in a hurry to get there and just did not see the NHP in front of him, when it was too late. He was a nice guy and only wrote me up for 10 over the limit when he clocked me at 16 over. Good thing it wasn't earlier when it was 30 over. Not bad for owning one for 3+ years though. My wife wasn't so lucky she got her first ticket a couple blocks from our house less than a week after we bought our first Sky.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Rick V. on October 10, 2009 at 2:38pm: Oh I've been pulled over for speeding many-o-times but only by the graciousness of the police and troopers in New Jersey, I was let go with either a warning or a 0-point 'No seat belt' ticket! We were on our first trip to the Lake of the Ozarks in the Sky - we live 6 hours away and it was purchased mostly to make this trip 12-15 times a year (at the highest speed i can get by with). I had just crossed the MO border by less than 20 miles when sure enough, I came nose to nose with a MO ST HP. He instantly turned. He told me i was getting a ticket, then asked what year it was. He came back up, handed me my ticket and then started going on and on about how great looking it was, he didn't know "what he had" a Ferrari or something, had never seen one before, etc. Hell he could have driven it if he just asked and handn't handed me the ticket!; ▶ Reply to This
