fuel economy
Bought a 2007 Aura last week, really nice car. I had seen complaints about poor fuel economy but kept looking at the official EPA # and it seemed good. However, I saw a website where users told their actual results, and there the 2007 compared poorly with the later models, even with similar running gear and EPA #s. I get 13.6 city in Automatic mode, but can squeeze 16 in Manual mode. Is there an upgrade on the transmission module or something that gets the mileage of later models?

Hello,
You didn't indicate which model Aura you have. However, I'm guessing from your reference to "manual mode", you have the XR with the paddle shifters. There has been a lot of discussion about the Aura's gas mileage on http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142108
