Thanks for the tip on the FM modulator, funny fact is that in Mexico the Astra have an MP3/CD with Aux input since Model year 2007i !!!!

Dave,

I've been using a Monster Brand FM Modulator for my iPod in my Astra for trips. Works fine for me. If I needed to, with the Advanced Audio System I can load up 6 MP3 CD's and almost have the same capacity without having to hide the iPod when I'm out of the car.

I'd rather have a GREAT Car than a car with an Aux Jack just for something I don't use everyday.

This Car is so much more Car for the Driver.

Great looking, and great driving car. But what's preventing me from buying this is the lack of an AUX input for an iPod! Seems like the Astra would win a lot of people over if this was added for '09.

Glad to see some friends from the Saturn Fans site here.

I'm another one that would love to see some "TUNER" parts available to me to add to my Astra. Some of the "OPC" Opel parts would be an outstanding addition to a great car.

Just out on the Saturn Fans website. The question was raised about tuner stuff for the Astra. It doesn't look good. Lets get the word to the Saturn Leadership that we can have performance and economy; economical cars don't have to be boring.

I find that I get a lot of looks from people too, they all are kinda like nice...and then it's the old "That's a Saturn" line!

I've only seen one other Astra on the road here in southern New Brunswick, Canada. The two dealerships near where I live are packed with new Astra's though. I would say that every 8 out of 10 cars on the lot are Astra's. I wonder if mine is the only one in North America with a roof rack on it!!

I've driven about 10 500 km's now or about 6500 miles now and I haven't noticed any changes in Astra's performance. I am getting some good gas mileage as well. I can average 36 mpg if I don't feel like hurrying (90 - 95 km/h) which is great. Not to mention this car is just sexy. It has grown on me a lot.

I have had my Astra for three months and have yet to see another Astra on the road.

I remember a car ad slogan from when I was a kid. I cannot remember the car that was being advertised but the catch phrase was "the best kept secret in America!"

I am more impressed with my Astra by the week. Sooner or later the word is going to get out that this is one great car and a terrific value.

It's been almost four months and 5,000 miles and I still haven't seen any other Astra in the wild. And it's not like I haven't been looking. I'd be feeling lonely if I wasn't having so much fun being unique while driving my XR3 with my sunroof open

and my new armrest installed.
