Wheels for the Astra
A number of people on various forums have lamented that there are no wheels available for Saturn's 5x110 bolt pattern. This is simply not the case. While local wheel retailers may not carry the wheels in stock, they are readily available.
The correct dimensions are 5x110 bolt circle, 37mm offset (can go to 40 with no problem) and a 65mm centerbore. Most aftermarket wheels are sold with kits that include the correct centering ring and bolts.
I've purchased wheels from both The Tire rack [url]http://www.tirerack.com[/url] and Discount Tire Direct [url]http://www.tires.com[/url]. Both businesses stock a large selection of wheels in the proper bolt pattern with the correct offset.
Discount Tire Direct also has a chain of retail stores who can get anything in that is shown on their website. In fact, many people, myself included have ordered online and had the wheels delivered to my local store for installation.
One new member of the Astra group is looking for wheels that are either black with a red accent or chrome with a red accent. I haven't found any in this configuration, but for an additional outlay, it could be done. Black w/ red (if there aren't suitable black wheels available) involves taking the wheels to a shop that does powdercoating. They can powdercoat the wheels in either matte or gloss black and add the red. Chrome with red could be done by a qualified pinstripe artist.
