My 2008 Astra's clock loses time! Every other month or so I have to reset the time. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it (if you could)?

There is this "Clock Synch Off" message in my settings that I can't find any info about in my manual. Could this be the problem?

My clock loses time, as well. I had it at the dealership a couple days ago and they said they can't find anything wrong with it... Hmmmm, where is that message exactly? How do you get there? I'm terrible when it comes to navigating all the buttons... Sounds like that could fix the problem...

If you press the Settings button, and then I think it was the "OK" or something a couple of times I saw the "Clock Synch Off" message. I'd have to go out to the car again...I'll look later!

Hey, I don't know if you're still following this, but mine did the same and I fixed it. But I really am not sure how! I did fiddle with that clock synch off setting a few times, and though it never said "clock synch on" or anything other than "clock synch off" it started keeping correct time. And now I'm an expert in military time, thanks to my Astra !! So it's al good. Good luck.

Mine has always lost time, too. I set it a couple minutes fast, then only have to fix it about 4 times a year. The clock synch is a feature enabled on the European versions that synchronizes with a radio signal. It's not enabled or available here.

I find that when I change the time, I need to scroll through all the screens after making the change, then push the settings button again to get out. If I don't do this, my change doesn't take.

I find it strange that the radio receives song and station information, why can't the clock be synched here too?
