Comment by Marvin Riner on July 31, 2009 at 6:36pm: 122,000 miles on my Saturn Ion II ! The only thing I've done to it is change the oil and replace the tires. My Ion is still getting 31 mpg, too! I'd have to say this is the most dependable car I've ever owned.

But that's no surprise. I had 199,000 on my 93 SL2 before I bought the Vue.
Only issue: my radio burned out. The digital display was showing random marks, and choosing a preset station usually caused a beep, malfunction, and maybe the need to restart the car to clear the radio of its confusion. I had an aftermarket radio installed at half the price of a Saturn replacement.

The US gov't should send all of us a check as a bonus for high milage instead of sending vouchers to owners of old clunkers and giving a tax break to 8,000 lb SUV gas guzzlers
